Since newborn parenting doesn’t come with a manual, I’m here to help
Daytime Postpartum Doula Care
You're in the right place if...
You want someone by your side as you settle into life with your baby. Maybe you're recovering from a difficult pregnancy or birth, adjusting to new routines, or just feeling the weight of too many “what now?” moments. You might be solo parenting, holding a baby while Googling how to sterilize bottles, or just needing a break long enough to eat a warm meal.
Daytime postpartum care is a mix of companionship, practical support, and baby know-how, the kind of help that makes the early days feel doable, not overwhelming.
What I might do during a typical 4-hour shift:
Watch your baby while you nap, shower, or take a breath
Prep a nourishing meal (or just making sure you eat)
Light housekeeping like laundry, dishes, bottle/pump cleaning
Chat through questions and offer newborn care education
Gentle lactation support and feeding troubleshooting
Hold space for your feelings, no judgment, just care
Support for older siblings and pets so everyone feels held
Every shift is shaped by your needs that day. Some families want hands-on teaching, others just want backup. Either way, I’m there to help your household feel a little more calm and a lot more supported.
